Our engineers have installed a new transmitter on a different tower in OKC and they need to test it. That test will happen Friday, August 1st at 1pm. They'll turn off the old transmitter and (hopefully) start sending our signal from the new transmitter on the other tower. They'll monitor the signal strength and make other technical evaluations then switch back to the old one at 3pm. After final adjustments are made we hope to move to the new tower permanently in 1-2 weeks.
We anticipate some viewers may experience a frozen image for as long as one minute (hopefully less) when the transition occurs. You'll likely experience it again when we switch back.
