When I read a Rick Steves book, I hear his cadence. When I daydream of travel to Europe, I think of Rick Steves. When I think about PBS giants, he's near the top. Rick Steves Europe has been airing on PBS for 21 years now. His books have been in our lives since the early eighties. When we think of traveling to Europe, he’s our first google search.  

We talked with the preeminent travel icon about traveling during a pandemic, his new pledge show Rick Steves: Island Hopping Europe, and his first time walking a dog.
