Program Preemptions During Festival 2015

Put on your dancing shoes because Festival 2015 is about to begin!

Festival runs from February 26 to March 15 and features many new programs and specials and, of course, offers plenty of opportunities to renew your OETA membership.

We don’t want you to miss any of your favorite OETA programs, so we’ve put together this list to help you plan for which programs will be preempted, which ones are available to view online and which ones will be postponed until after the pledge drive.

Since Festival 2015 starts on a Thursday, that’s where we’ll start this list:

 

Thursdays

Local documentaries -- New documentaries will be held until after Festival

MIDSOMER MURDERSDOC MARTIN, and DEATH IN PARADISE – All episodes will be held until March 19

LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE – All episodes will be held until March 16

 

Fridays

WASHINGTON WEEK – Airs Sunday mornings at 4am on OETA HD. Can be viewed online here.

DOCTOR WHO – All episodes held until March 20

GREAT PERFORMANCES "La Dolce Vita: The Music of Italian Cinema” – Airs Saturday, February 28 at 1am and Monday, March 2 at 2am. It will likely also be available online here.

 

Saturdays

SUNUP – Airs Sunday mornings at 6am on OETA HD and frequently the following week on OKLA. See schedule for days and times. Watch recent episodes here.

Sewing Programs – All episodes held until March 21

Quilting Programs – All episodes held until March 21

Cooking Programs – All episodes held until March 21

Painting Programs – All episodes held until March 21

MARKET TO MARKET – Preempted episodes can be viewed online at the Iowa Public Television website.

OKLAHOMA GARDENING – Airs frequently the following week on OKLA. See schedule for days and times. Watch full episodes here.

GROWING A GREENER WORLD – New episodes held until March 21

THIS OLD HOUSE/ASK THIS OLD HOUSE – Airs Thursdays at midnight (Friday 12am)

HOMETIME, NATURE, NOVA, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW – PBS isn’t feeding any new episodes until after Festival

GLOBE TREKKER – All episodes held until March 21

THE LAWRENCE WELK SHOW – All episodes held until March 21

OETA MOVIE CLUB – Will return with “Julie & Julia” on March 21

 

Sundays

MOTORWEEK – Preempted during the pledge drive. Can be viewed online here.

Woodworking Programs – All episodes held until March 22

OUTDOOR OKLAHOMA – Airs frequently the following week on OKLA. See schedule for days and times.

THIS OLD HOUSE – Airs Thursdays at midnight (Friday 12am)

ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, NATURE, NOVA – PBS isn’t feeding any new episodes until after Festival

CHARLIE ROSE: THE WEEK – Can be viewed online hereCHARLIE ROSE daily program can be seen on OKLA weekdays at noon.

OKLAHOMA FORUM – No new episodes during Festival

MCLAUGHLIN GROUP – Airs on OKLA Monday mornings at 1:30am. Can be viewed online here.

ONR – Airs Friday evenings at 7pm and frequently on OKLA.

RELIGION & ETHICS NEWSWEEKLY – Airs on OKLA Monday mornings at 1am. Can be viewed online here.

OKLAHOMA HORIZON – Airs frequently the following week on OKLA. See schedule for days and times. Full episodes can also be seen on their website here.

Travel programs – All episodes held until March 22

 

Mondays

ANTIQUES ROADSHOW and INDEPENDENT LENS – No new episodes feeding during Festival. Will return March 16. 

WRITING OUT LOUD – No new episodes during Festival. Encores can be seen frequently on OKLA. See schedule for days and times. Some encore episodes can be viewed here.

LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE – Will return March 16

 

Tuesdays

AMERICAN EXPERIENCE, FRONTLINE, etc. – No new episodes feeding during Festival. Will return March 17.

 

Wednesday

NATURE and NOVA – No new episodes feeding during Festival. Will return March 18.
