Described as “charming... ravishing (and) transportive” by the New York Times, All Creatures Great and Small returns for a second season of heartwarming and humorous stories based on James Herriot’s beloved bestselling novels about a young vet and his surrogate family in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales of the 1930s. With an acclaimed ensemble cast headed by Nicholas Ralph as James Herriot, the seven new episodes will air on OETA and on the PBS Video app beginning on Sunday, January 9 at 8 pm. As season two opens, James returns from Glasgow where he has been visiting his parents for Easter. While there he is offered a job at a modern local veterinary practice and must decide between staying home in Glasgow with his elderly parents or returning to his new life in Yorkshire.

That’s not all! This new year brings new dramas! Around the World in 80 Days is a thrilling, new adaptation of Jules Verne’s classic adventure novel. David Tennant (Good Omens, Doctor Who) stars as literature’s greatest explorer, Phileas Fogg. He is joined on his incredible journey by French actor Ibrahim Koma (OSS 117, Wùlu) as Jean Passepartout, Fogg’s irrepressible valet, and German actress Leonie Benesch (The Crown, Babylon Berlin) as Abigail “Fix” Fortescue, a determined and headstrong journalist. Lastly, 1900s Vienna is a hotbed of philosophy, science, and art, where a clash of cultures and ideas collide in the city's grand cafes and opera houses. Max Liebermann, played by Matthew Beard (The Imitation Game, Dracula) is a brilliant young English doctor and student of famed psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud. Together with tenacious Detective Inspector Oskar Rheinhardt, played by Juergen Maurer (Vorstadtweiber, Tatort) they investigate a series of unusual and disturbing murders. Season two of Vienna Blood premieres Sunday, January 9 at 9 pm.
