The Oklahoma State Department of Education has joined forces with the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA) to produce the monthly broadcast Education Matters.
Education Matters, hosted by Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction Joy Hofmeister, will focus on important topics and key initiatives for public education across the state.
This month’s episode, airing 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 14, will focus on addressing student’s emotional needs and strengthening safety and security in Oklahoma schools.
This month’s guests include:
- Karen Loewe, a teacher at Collinsville Middle School.
- Dr. Nick Migliorino, superintendent, Norman Public Schools.
Education Matters airs monthly on OETA every third Thursday at 7 p.m. and is rebroadcast the following Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.
