OETA Executive Director Polly Anderson Appointed Chair of the Organization of State Broadcasting Executives (OSBE)
Oklahoma City, OK — [August 16th, 2024] — Polly Anderson, Executive Director of OETA, has been appointed Chair of the Organization of State Broadcasting Executives (OSBE). This esteemed position underscores Anderson’s leadership and OETA’s pivotal role within the public broadcasting community. OSBE is a public television affinity group comprised of the chief executives of public television state networks and network associations.
Serving 28 states directly and an additional three through associations, OSBE members operate 174 of the 341 public television stations nationwide and dominate 114 of the largest media markets. Notably, OSBE's reach extends to rural America, with members providing essential services in 18 of the 25 least-populated states. As Chair, Anderson will be key in advancing the organization’s mission and vision, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering collaboration among member networks.

Polly Anderson has served as Executive Director of OETA since 2017, leading the organization with a focus on innovation, community engagement, and program excellence. Her tenure has been marked by significant achievements, including the 2022 National Advocacy Award by America’s Public Television Stations (APTS) for her work in building relationships and support for public broadcasting within the federal Oklahoma congressional delegation and Oklahoma State Legislature.
