ONR PROGRAMMING BULLETIN FOR March 29, 2019

Email share

Oklahoma’s only statewide news broadcast, the Oklahoma News Report (ONR), airs 7 p.m. CST, every Friday night on the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA). This award-winning broadcast offers an in-depth exploration of news and issues affecting all Oklahomans.

Some of the stories covered on this week’s Oklahoma News Report include:

  • Those in support of protecting Oklahoma’s water supply spent the day urging lawmakers to take steps to better protect the state’s water. Their goal is to make legislators aware of the worst examples of water quality and what can be done to improve the situation.
  • Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter has reached a settlement with Purdue Pharma in the state’s opioid suit. While the settlement means millions in new funding for the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Stillwater, victims of opioid addiction are upset that the case will not go to trial.
  • A special panel created to conduct audits of programs and state agencies sets its agenda for the new year and hand picks the issues it will focus on.
  • And, finally, ONR anchor Rich Lenz brings us a unique view of Tulsa, past and present.

Join us Friday night for these and other stories, business news and more on ONR.
