Email share

Oklahoma’s only statewide news broadcast, the Oklahoma News Report (ONR), airs 7 p.m. CST, every Friday night on the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA). This award-winning broadcast offers an in-depth exploration of news and issues affecting all Oklahomans.

Some of the stories covered on this week’s Oklahoma News Report include:

  • Grandparents are raising grandchildren in unprecedented numbers in the United States. We’ll look at the challenges grandparents are facing in Oklahoma and programs designed to help them.
  • Governor Stitt is promising greater transparency in state government. A big part of that is LOFT. We’ll explain what it stands for and what it hopes to accomplish.
  • We are less than a year away from the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre. We will look at some of the ambitious plans state leaders have to commemorate the tragic event.
  • Shawn Ashley will join us in studio to discuss other news from the capitol and Russell Ray also join us with the week in Oklahoma business.

Join us Friday night for these and other stories, business news and more on ONR.
