OETA EARNS FIVE EMMY AWARD NOMINATIONS IN THE 38TH ANNUAL HEARTLAND EMMY® AWARDS

Nominations for the 38th Annual Heartland Emmy® Awards were announced this week by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). 

The Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA) earned nominations for five of its seven submissions, including “Oklahoma News Report: Black Frontier Towns,” “Gallery America: The Deonna Marie Experience,” “Gallery America: Bobby Cornelson,” “Back in Time: Digging the Wagon Road,” and digital programming “Aquí En Oklahoma.” 

The Heartland Chapter honors locally produced programming in these Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Wyoming television markets: Denver, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Wichita/Hutchinson, Omaha, Colorado Springs/Pueblo, Lincoln/Hastings-Kearney, Topeka, Grand Junction/Montrose, Cheyenne/Scottsbluff and North Platte.
