An Entire Week Dedicated to Saying Thank You: OETA's Week of Gratitude

 

This Thanksgiving, the turkey and stuffing won't be the only things we're celebrating here at OETA. We're setting aside the entire week – Thanksgiving Week – to do something vitally important: express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the people who make everything we do possible – you.

This is a week for appreciation. We want to shine a light on the incredible value of your support, whether you're a devoted donor, a dedicated viewer, or a valued community partner.

Personal Calls: Our Member Thank-a-Thon

Though we won’t be able to reach everyone who supports OETA, our OETA staff and board members are hitting the phones for a dedicated Member Thank-a-Thon. 

This is one of the most personal ways we can connect with you. Our team is making calls simply to say thank you. We aren't asking for a single donation; we're taking the time to let you know how much your commitment means to us and to listen to your stories about how OETA impacts your life. These personal connections are at the heart of our mission, and we can’t wait to hear from you.

Digital and On-Air Thanks: The "OETA Says Thanks" Campaign

All week long, you’ll see our commitment to gratitude splashed across our digital platforms and on our OETA channels.

  • Gratitude Gallery: Keep an eye on your inbox on Tuesday for a special email titled, "A Personal Thank You from Everyone at OETA." This message features a "Gratitude Gallery" of our staff and board members holding signs and props as they share their thanks. It’s a chance to put faces to the names and show you the real people who are passionate about the programming your support makes possible.
  • Social Media Series: Follow along on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, and X throughout the week using the hashtag #OETASaysThanks. We’ll be sharing a continuous stream of photos and posts featuring the OETA team. You'll see which programs our staff members love to help create and bring into your homes and why they are personally invested in them.
  • As Oklahoma's Public Television network, it's only right that we also use our unique platform to thank the entire state. Throughout the week, and especially on Thanksgiving Day, keep an eye out for special on-air television spots. We've created short messages of gratitude featuring OETA staff and board members.

 

The primary message is simple but powerful: "Your partnership makes OETA possible."

A Stronger Foundation for the Future

The OETA Week of Gratitude is an opportunity to strengthen the connection between our station and the communities we serve across Oklahoma. Every call, email, social media post, and on-air message is designed to reinforce one truth: Your support is the foundation of OETA.
