Tulsa Race Massacre: 100 Years Later, an OETA production, is available to small theatres, community organizations, educators, etc., to screen for free. Screening partners are encouraged to host thought-provoking events which foster productive conversations. Events may be held virtually or in person if held safely and in accordance with CDC recommendations. Approved applicants will receive a digital version of the documentary, promotional posters and access to a digital promotional toolkit which includes promos, social media assets, a sample press release and more.
Community Screenings Must…
- Serve your community and educate the public on the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre and/or the state of the modern Black Wall Street
- Be free of charge and open to the public
- Take place between Tuesday, June 1, through Wednesday, June 30
- Include at least 15 minutes of Tulsa Race Massacre: 100 Years Later and include our full underwriter acknowledgment
- Ticket your event through Eventbrite and provide attendee email addresses to OETA
- Eventbrite is a free platform and easy to set up
- Exceptions may be given on a case-by-case basis
- Promote OETA’s attendee survey
- Screening partners must complete a brief post-event report
