Your support goes a long way. November 30 is Giving Tuesday - a great day to support OETA. This Giving Tuesday, we wanted to focus on the "how-to" in supporting OETA. Donations of all types ensure that we continue to produce award-winning local programs, provide invaluable educational resources and maintain a critical emergency communications infrastructure.
As a donor, you may already be familiar with the perks that come with an OETA membership. In addition to Odyssey, members who donate $60/per year receive OETA Passport, allowing them to stream fan-favorite programs like Masterpiece, NOVA and Antiques Roadshow on demand. However, there are several other ways to support OETA other than the typical donation.
VEHICLE DONATION
Donating your old car, tractor, motorcycle, RV or boat is mutually beneficial! By donating your vehicle, you can get rid of an old clunker, receive a nice tax write-off and the proceeds benefit OETA. To start the process, call (844) 227-6382. If your vehicle doesn’t run, a tow truck will arrive to take away your vehicle at no cost to you—you don’t have to lift a finger. PLANNED GIVING
Some donors prefer to leave a planned gift for OETA. In the process of arranging your will or trust, you can take care of your loved ones while also making a lasting impact in protecting thoughtful and thought-provoking media. Simply include Friends of OETA in your will or living trust to receive a specific amount or percentage of your assets.
