ONR PROGRAMMING BULLETIN FOR March 8, 2019

Email share

Oklahoma’s only statewide news broadcast, the Oklahoma News Report (ONR), airs 7 p.m. CST, every Friday night on the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA). This award-winning broadcast offers an in-depth exploration of news and issues affecting all Oklahomans.

Some of the stories covered on this week’s Oklahoma News Report include:

  • A bill that lays out new rules for medical cannabis, known as the “Unity Bill,” has cleared several hurdles as it now moves through the legislative process. While similar bills are expected to be heard, of the more than 60 medical cannabis bills originally filed, only a handful now remain.
  • The Green Grow Expo, focusing on the state’s booming medical cannabis industry, is overwhelmed with both vendors and a public hungry for more information on the industry.
  •  A unique guitar, tied to Tulsa’s historic Cain’s Ballroom, is providing funds to buy instruments for some Tulsa Public School students.

Join us Friday night for these and other stories, business news and more on ONR.
