OETA Answers the Question of What the Durrells Did Next

Email share

After four seasons on the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA), the beloved series, The Durrells in Corfu, has come to an end. However, the series explored only one chapter in the quirky, real-life Durrell family’s story. What happened after they left the Greek island of Corfu? Find out in the new one-hour documentary, What The Durrells Did Next, 6:30 p.m., Nov. 10.

Hosted by Keeley Hawes (Louisa Durrell), this film tells the true story behind one of the best-loved families in TV drama. When the outbreak of World War II forces the Durrells to leave their idyllic home, their lives continue, forever shaped by their stay in Corfu. This film explores family secrets as well as the heartbreak, triumph and further adventures of the family.
