Dancing with the Stars... the REAL Stars

Email share

To some degree, Mr. Darcy was right: Every savage can dance.

And they often do.

This is perhaps why many of us prefer to watch only the skilled professionals do it. They do it correctly. They do it as we'd like to think we might do it, if given the proper wardrobe, training, body, and dance partner.

Ballroom dancing has grown from an activity among the more (and sometimes less) polished societies to a riveting spectator sport. Over the next three Fridays, OETA will bring the dancing professionals into your living room with AMERICA'S BALLROOM CHALLENGE. Each episode features super-heated battles and gravity-defying exhibitions. All four major styles of competitive ballroom dancing will be represented: American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Standard and International Latin. You'll get to go onto the dancefloor and behind the scenes as 25 couples compete for the title of "America's Best."

Competition kicks off this Friday night, April 24 at 8pm on OETA.
