Friday, June 20

7p                           ONR -- The GOP primary for State Superintendent has become a race of increasingly hostile TV ads… Independent expenditures from “dark money” groups are affecting campaigns this year, especially the race for a U.S. Senate seat… We learn about campaign themes in this year’s primary election from eCapitol News Director Shawn Ashley “On the Campaign Trail”… A Tulsa program is becoming a model for the nation in providing access to a free college education… The state budget for Fiscal Year 2015 is now out of balance following an Attorney General’s Opinion that part of the budget is unconstitutional… The Governor’s office expects an appeal of a judge’s ruling that allows some e-mails about the decision to reject expansion of Medicaid to remain secret… Business owners rejoice as a vital link between two Oklahoma cities re-opens… As Oklahomans learn to eat healthier, more and more are turning to organically-grown foods… We visit the Toy and Action Figure Museum in Pauls Valley… And, Ted Streuli, Editor of The Journal Record, reviews the week in business.

7 pm                      OKLAHOMA VOTES 2014 – Four-hour live coverage of the results from primary elections and voting held around the state. All four hours will repeat on OKLA from 12am to 4am.

FREEDOM SUMMER: AMERICAN EXPERIENCE premieres around the country tonight and is getting a lot of press. We’re preempting it on our OETA HD (Main) channel for our election coverage. It will air from 8pm to 10pm on OKLA tonight AND tomorrow night. Viewers who don’t have OKLA can see it on the main channel Saturday morning from 5am to 7am.

 

Wednesday, June 25

Friday, June 27

DOCTOR WHO will not be seen tonight on OETA Main so that we can bring you the classic opera “La Boheme.” DOCTOR WHO will return next week in its usual time following the special July 4th programming. If you need to get your DOCTOR WHO fix before then, tune in to OKLA Saturday, June 28th at 9pm for “Amy’s Choice.”
