OETA has announced that Sesame Street’s Walkaround Super Grover will appear at OETA Day Wednesday, April 20. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oklahoma History Center.
Walkaround Super Grover's appearance is in conjunction with Sesame Street’s Everyday Heroes Club. Children attending OETA Day may have their photo taken with Walkaround Super Grover and receive information on how to join Sesame Street’s Everyday Heroes Club.
Sesame Street’s Everyday Heroes Club promotes acts of kindness, big and small. Any child can become a member by completing kind acts, such as: helping a family member or friend, being kind to the environment or to animals, volunteering to help others and by saying ‘please’ and ‘thank you.’
Children and their families can share their act of kindness at www.sesameheroes.org and earn a membership card, club certificate and special badges. The website also features videos of everyone’s favorite furry friends, along with a brand-new song, performed by Aloe Blaac and the Sesame Street gang. Families can watch Sesame Street everyday on OETA and OETA Kids (check your local listings).
