In order to keep Oklahomans safe and informed around COVID-19, OETA has put together a brief list of local and PBS resources for adults, children, and educators. This post will be updated as new information and resources become available.

Oklahoma Resources

Oklahoma State Department of Health - Visit OSDH’s dedicated website for the latest in state-specific updates and information. You can also call the COVID-19 call center at 877-215-8336. 

Oklahoma State Department of Education - Stay up to date with information regarding spring break and possible closings.

 

PBS NewsHour

The NewsHour team is updating their website with the latest national and international information here. You can view a full collection of their COVID-19 coverage here

The NewsHour team is also producing a one-hour special, Confronting Coronavirus, which will focus on health precautions for individuals and the public-at-large as well as the pandemic's economic impact in both the United States and globally. The primetime special, to be anchored by managing editor Judy Woodruff, will include interviews with officials; reporting from NewsHour's bench of special correspondents throughout the world; and a virtual town hall with curated questions from people across America, to be moderated by NewsHour correspondents Amna Nawaz and William Brangham. Watch Thursday, March 19 at 7 p.m.
