What’s the Deal? is a digital series produced by OETA dedicated to finding out how things work. Host and producer, Jessi Crino makes this series fun for fourth through eighth grade students to learn science, mathematics, engineering and technology concepts in a curious way. OETA is proud to make these videos along with FREE curriculum guides available to all. To download the curriculum guides, please fill out the short form below.

In season one, Tales of the Tower, Jessi looks at OETA's giant antenna and how television works. From the building of a giant tower, to the signal it emits, to its deconstruction, Jessi got the answers behind it all. In Oklahoma Road Trip, the second and most recent season, Jessi and her crew hit the road exploring Oklahoma—from Talimena Drive to Black Mesa in the panhandle.

What's the Deal? is made possible by the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives (OAEC).
