OETA hosts an afternoon with award-winning writer and filmmaker Dayton Duncan, Saturday April 16 at 3 p.m. at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art's Noble Theatre.
Duncan will explore his collaborations with documentarian Ken Burns, and screen clips from their digitally remastered film, "The National Parks: America's Best Idea".
"The National Parks: America's Best Idea" is a six-episode series produced by Burns and written and produced by Dayton Duncan.
Filmed over the course of more than six years at some of nature's most spectacular locales - from Acadia to Yosemite, Yellowstone to the Grand Canyon, the Everglades of Florida to the Gates of the Arctic in Alaska. The pair previously teamed up for the Oklahoma-centric PBS documentary, "The Dust Bowl".
