This month, the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA) offers specials focusing on two generations of the Royal Family, The Queen Mother and Margaret: The Rebel Princess.
The Queen Mother, 8 p.m., Feb. 8, offers a moving profile of one of the most respected members of the British Royal Family. Find out how she and King George VI steered the country through the darkness of WWII and how she later forged a new role for herself as the senior matriarch of the Royal Family. Margaret: The Rebel Princess, 9 p.m., Feb. 10 & 17, is an insightful new two-part biography of Princess Margaret, Queen Elizabeth’s beautiful and rebellious younger sister.
