Email share

Oklahoma was the only state to record no growth in personal income in the second quarter of this year, according to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.

Nationwide personal income increased 0.9 percent.

In addition to the impact of declining oil prices the state also has seen a decline in durable goods manufacturing, in the transportation sector and agriculture.  There was some growth during the second quarter in the state, primarily in the utilities, management and information sectors.
